Gladeville Baptist Church
will be conducting a worship service at the Wilson County Fair.

 (Shhhhhhhh.  Don't tell the ACLU.)

Next Sunday, the 14th of August, at 6pm, in the large Pageant Pavillion. (This is not a little tent.  This is the metal structure where they hold the beauty contests.  It seats a thousand people, and there is standing room around it for hundreds more.  There will be a special seating section up-front for Deaf. 

This is the most-attended county fair in the state of Tennessee. 

During the week, up to a half-million people attend the fair -- if there are no storms.  Even in stormy weather, attendance is about 300,000 people! 

Please come and show the world that we are "not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ".) 
We are inviting our Deaf friends from all area churches.  We are having this service in the evening.  So, it won't compete with other Deaf services.  This is a Hearing church, but there is a new Deaf ministry. 

We would like to see you there!

 Look for the international sign for Deafness.
 There will be two ASL interpreters, and lots of songs.

  World Congress of Deaf Baptists  
     
  The officers of the World Congress of Deaf Baptists met in Kiev on May 5 , 2011.  
  For 2012 they selected the theme "Loving and Serving Christ Together" based on Romans 12:10-13.  
  Date and country will be announced sometime in July, 2011.
