In 2002, during SBCD in Ridgecrest, N.C., the North
American Missions offering name was changed to “Bearden/Bruffey Offering” in
honor of two great deaf pastors. Carter Bearden and Clifford Bruffey
shared an unique journey with the Lord, truly desiring that the deaf could
“go out” and reach other deaf.
The North American Missions
Committee is ready to help you make that happen. If
your church is planning a mission trip within the United States, your
mission team is eligible to apply for a grant of limited funds from the
Bearden/Bruffey Offering to help with your mission trip expenses.

for application process before the date of your trip. The NAMC will
prayerfully consider each request and inform you of their decision as soon
